As many of you know, Fairlington Glen held the 2020 Annual Meeting and Elections on Thursday, November 12th at 7 pm via Zoom.  In case you missed it, we wanted to follow up with the results.

Congratulations to Maynard Dixon and Susan Hunchar for being elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the next three years.  We’d also like to thank Bill Layer for his service and dedication to our community for the last three years and we hope to see him again in other volunteer capacities.

Yesterday evening, the Association also approved the 2019 Annual Meeting minutes and the 2021 Budget, both of which will be finalized and posted to the Association’s website next week.

This year, the Association solicited feedback from the community as to whether or not lawn chairs should be allowed to remain in the grass areas in front of the units during the warmer months of the year.  The majority of the owners who voted answered with NO.  Therefore, the Board will not be moving forward with this endeavor.

We’d like to also congratulate the four winners of the raffle, sponsored by Cardinal Management Group, Inc., each of whom will receive a $25 gift card in the mail: Oscar Ruiz, Jason Ford, Conway Miller and Miranda “Joy” Bickelhaupt.

Finally, we are looking for volunteers to join our various Glen Committees. If you have any desire to assist the Glen in this capacity, we ask that you reach out to our Onsite Manager, Ben Mengstab via email:  b.mengstab@cardinalmanagementgroup.com, so that he can connect you with the appropriate Committee Chairs and members.
