REMINDER: After a 2 year pandemic hiatus, the 7th annual Fairlington 5K will take place on Saturday, May 7. There is a new canine competitor entry this year!  Here is the map route. The race will start at 8:30 AM. Road closures will start at 8:00 AM, but do not be surprised if you see cones in parking lots along the race route before then.

There will be hard rolling closures (i.e. when runners are actively passing on the streets) and rolling road openings once the last runner has passed. As in years past, most roads will be open by 9:30 AM. Please plan accordingly.

If you are not running or walking, you are welcome to take a place along the route to cheer on our community in support of Abingdon Elementary and a very special young Fairlington resident.
