Hurricane Ian has made landfall in Florida with reports of severe damage. The storm, or its remnant, is expected to work its way north and impact our area sometime this weekend and early next week. While the track of the storm is still uncertain and it’s strength on arrival here is unknown, it would be prudent for our residents to take precautions in case we receive high winds or heavy rainfall. These include securing any patio items or other possessions outside, checking gutters and downspouts for clogs, insuring downspout extenders are connected, and reporting any clogged or obstructed drains. Our onsite staff will be checking our facilities to insure they are secure. Hopefully, we will not encounter severe weather, but it is best to be prepared.
