Dear Residents:

We were notified by our trash contractors at Capitol, that one of their workers were recently injured by a loose piece of broken glass, which was thrown away with house trash in a plastic trash bag.

Although this was not an occurrence that happened in the Glen, but instead a neighboring community, we are reaching out to our residents to remind them to please not dispose of broken glass in plastic trash bags. Broken glass should be placed securely in a cardboard box, clearly labeled “broken glass”, before being disposed of with other looses trash.
