Volunteers are needed to help the Landscape Committee for Spring Clean Up Day in the Glen on Saturday, April 22, which happens to be Earth Day. The perimeter areas along the interior and exterior fence lines on King Street and Quaker Lane have trash that needs to be picked up, bagged, and disposed of properly. Also, help is needed to remove ivy from some of our common area trees inside the perimeter fences. It may not sound like much, but a little bit will make a huge difference. Adults and children are welcome to join. Actually, this is a great opportunity to help your community and to meet your fellow neighbors & make new friends.
Clean Up Day volunteers are asked to meet at 9:00am at the entrance to the Glen Pool. Please bring your own gardening gloves and a hand pruner (if you have one). The Glen will provide trash bags and other needed tools. Work for just an hour or stay until 11:00-11:30am if you can spare the time. After the “hard work” is complete, our volunteers will have a treat at the maintenance facility area. Please RSVP to susanhunchar.fairlingtonglen@
